About Mike and Thirty-Two
Hi. I’m Mike. I founded Thirty-Two Photography in 2014 after several years in news and sports photography both here in the Treasure Valley and up in eastern Washington. I’ve been shooting professionally since my college journalism days, and love mixing up styles and branching out. I love that one day I can be on the sidelines at Albertson’s stadium snapping pictures of Boise State football, the next be shooting someone’s Star Wars themed wedding, and the day after that doing some funky piece of concept studio work with powder and high-speed strobes. It certainly keeps things from getting stale.
You’ll often see me accompanied by the greatest photography assistant of all time (who also happens to be my wife), Nicole. We both pride ourselves on being outgoing and friendly, and we know that not everyone is comfortable right off the bat in front of the camera (I know I’m not, that’s why I got into this work – to stay behind the camera). We tend to keep things light and maybe a little bit goofy, and in no time you’ll wonder what you were ever nervous about.
Bottom line – we love seeing the response from people when they see the finished product. If you have any questions, ideas, concerns, or hey, if you just wanna say hi, send us a message. We don’t bite.
